Np man, it was an expensive mistake

 

you know what your losing by selling the motor for you could probably buy a block and crankfor a TB failure or w/e and then just spend a little more to have to pistons and rods transfered over. All in all your probably be the same or withen a couple hundred +/- in either direction to do so

 

yeah but how much more would install cost with the additional work, I was quoted for a straight up swap for 1300 no additional labor

 

Building the engine shouldnt cost more than about $400 or so. Is that price including the engine or not?

 

1300 was just for the swap, I needed to supply the new motor

 

and yes it was an expensive mistake...I could have spent about $1200 on a regular block and been cruisin right now, but instead I spent 3G's on one that wont even fit right. 1800 is a lot of money to have extra to do whatever with ya know. Oh well I just hope this nightmare ends soon becasue it has been 4 months maybe longer since I last drove her and I am going thru withdrawels

 

The person that pulled my motor is only charging < $700 to pull and reinstallmy motor. You should call around for a lower price and see if someone will build it for you also. You should be able to have it swapped and reinstalled for about $1500ish
