pretty much. This motor was built with the intentions of throwing on a Garret GT30 or higher. Like I said it can hold over 500hp. If you own a 01 and up 1.8t A4 and are looking for a good project this is it, and its nearly a grand less than getting it from the manufacturer. I got it listed on audizine vortex and here so...... I am gonna use the money to pay for a regular block and install but after a while I am gonna do the same set up again only with a block that will fit my actuall waterpump assembly cuz people put some crazy thoughts in my head when I was first going to install and man were they crazy good

 

oooo i thought our engines were 8.1:1 compression but just looked up and we r 9.something. higher than that lol. ya, i gotta get this damn building idea out of my head. im so used to building N/A engines haha

no it is from a 2001 and up, the water pump assembly on the 2000 and older is different thats what my problem is

How about I put it in my sig on VOrtex and if someone buys it from seeing it in my sig, you pay me $50

BTW, stock is 9.5:1, 9:1 isnt that much lower. Its perfect for the gt30-35r turbos. If you really wanted a gt40+ turbo, 8-8.5:1 would be better.
