Default Bridgestone Potenzas, good in snow?

Anybody have any experience with this tire in snow? Don't ask me the size, I don't know and I'm too lazy to go outside and look, but I would like to know if they're gonna be worth a **** in the snow as I just bought the car and these tires came with it. Also, I did a search and didn't really find anything so don't flame the noob. Thanks guys and gals.

I did a search on Audiworld. Seems as though everyone says they are horrible in the snow. Yikes, hope you don't see too much of it.

No they suck. I had them on my 330 Coupe and it was like driving on ice. If you get caught in a couple of inches you might get stuck with them. Not bad in the wet though.

My own personal rule:

Continental + Snow = Whatever

Worth the money.

****, I live in the PNW and trips over the passes here can be GNARLY. Hopefully I won't have to do it too much, mostly rain is what we get here in Seattle, hardly any snow until you start heading up into the foothills, but trips back home could get interesting since I have to go from 200 feet above sea level to 4500 above to get over the mountains. Maybe I'll just take the damn train, that would be safer for the car. Thanks for the heads up guys, now I actually have an idea of what they MIGHT do. Sounds like they suck so I won't even try anything daring.

Which potenza's? There are like 20 of them... S-03's? RE750's?

just check tirerack.com and read the reviews and surveys... they rate snow traction out of 10.
