Default Brakes rub in cold weather?

Hey the past several days have been pretty cold and every morning on the way to school it feels like the car is dragging. In fact when you are slowing down and you are almost stopped, if you let go of the brakes it stops itself. And when I get to school I smell brakes. So I don't know if its my emergency brake or my regular brakes rubbing. Its only when its cold that it does it. After driving for a little bit it seems to stop. Anyboy had this issue? I would think its the brake lines or something but its weird how it only does it when its been sitting in the cold overnight or whatever. Anybody please help!

sounds like your e-brake cable is freezing, and making the e-brake drag.

^^That is the only thing I can come up with. Your brake pads return to their resting position by a lack of pressure in the hydraulic lines and the spinning rotor. So it sounds like it is either freezing brake lines or your ebrake cable. What kind of brake fluid are you using?
