I'm thinking of upgrading my front brake discs to a larger set, i know this was possible on my mk4 Golf GTi, the calliper carriers from the Audi TT fitted onto the VW hubs and used the same caliper but on a larger disc.

Is this possible with the A4?
I'd like to get bigger discs but without the expense of larger/replacement callipers.

I can't get a workshop manual for this car yet so I can't check what callipers are fitted to what models for compatibility checking.

Any information would be appreciated!

 

This site (http://www.ecstuning.com) was a good resource for what fits. I've heard ECS are among the best, and I know that you can upgrade rotors and calipers separately (such as Big Brake kit rotors w/stage 2 calipers). Hope it helps.
