boost gauge options

RE: boost gauge options
I'm working up a design to replace my console clock with a boost gauge. I've gotten my hands on a (broken) A4 instrument cluster and I'm working on fitting a 2" gauge to it. Hopefully it will work, because it should look like it belongs there.

I'am thinking about ordering the pillar mount for my 99 avant. i looked on the side and didnt see any sign of an SRS logo so i think im good. im a little worried about it lighting up tho? it says it has a back light. does anyone have a pic of there pillar gauge installed?

RE: boost gauge options
I just did the center vent DIY last week. Very easy and looks very stock. Stock look is a good thing around here, we're not into being flashy and don't care if the guy next to us can see what gauges we have.
what year do you have?
