Default Blue Smoke

When I start the car in the morning (I live in sunny California so its never that cold) it spits out blue smoke. I've owned this car for not even 2 weeks and I am starting to think that I should have stuck to my 96 C220...

Well It could be leaky valve seaks. The oil leaks into the combustion chamber while it is sitting, and when you start up it is burning off. How many miles does your car/what year? Please include specifics here when you ask questions.

Is your oil overfilled?

Better get your car into the shop, and monitor the oil level untill you can. Sad to say if they don't fix this for you, it will probably be an expensive one. [:@]

This happens only in the morning while I get it warmed up, it disappears afterwards.

Right I already explained why this happens only when you have a cold start. Over night the oil has had time to leak through the leaky valves and pool in the combustion chamber. When you start the car up it is immediately burned off. Oil creates blue smoke when it is burned. Once the car is warmed up there is not a substantial amount of oil burning to create any more blue smoke, even though you are probably still burning small amounts.

Ah, did some searching and found this.

Are valve stem seals all I need? 20 of these: Valve stem seal link

Did this a while back on a different car, I'll at least definitely need a special tool, though.

I just ordered the Bentley CD along with the air, fuel and ACC filters, so I guess I'll find out soon enough. Anyone know a good source for special tools? I can't seem to find any. []
