Blower motor gone bad?!?!

Blower motor gone bad?!?!
I must have a lemon b/c my 03' A4 1.8T has a new problem weekly. Since I bought the car in November, I've spent over $2500 in repairs (no lie and it would take me 30 min to list everything I've replaced). However, I still like my car and won't trade it in because the thing is basically brand new at this point b/c of all the repairs I've had done haha.
Anyways, since I've had the car, every time I turn on the heat/air conditioning, the blower motor made this rumbling noise at certain speeds. Just yesterday, it stopped and nothing comes out of the vents, hot or cold. I checked the fuse just to make sure and it's fine...I'm almost positive it's the blower? Any ideas?
Also, is this something that I can do or should I just take it to the shop? I'm assuming the whole dash has to come off and I really don't know how to do that (I have minimal mechanical skills), but I'm really tired of seeing my mechanic. All suggestions welcome. Thanks!

RE: Blower motor gone bad?!?!
i don't have a rumble in mine, but when i start the car in the morning if the climate control is even on i'll get this high pitched squealing noise from the blower motor. i'm thinking it'll have to be replaced soon enough. your best bet is to find a shop that will diagnose your problems free of charge...sport tuning places are usually the ones that'll offer this.

$2500 since November? No that sounds about right for an Audi. J/K
I looked up the blower motor in the Bentley Manual. It 'looks' pretty straighforward. Get a quote on the motor and a quote on labor. I would prob do it myself, but it may not be too expensive if you pay someone else to do it.
You need to remove the glove box. Apparently it is right behind the glove box. Remove three bolts to get it out. Then you need to remove the blower from the mounting plate which consists of two locking tabs that you undo with a screwdriver. Reinstall new blower motor in reverse order. Prob more of a PITA than it sounds, but still prob not too difficult.
Good luck.
