Blow off Valve (BoV) and Diverter Valve (DV) - same thing?
Hello,
I just bought an A4, 1.8T manual 2004. I am really new to car modifications, and I'm tryin to make myself understand everything, 1 bit at a time. I have gone thru many newbie posts in this forums, but I still need some clarification.
Here's my question, are BoV and DV the same thing? If not whats the difference, and whats better (sound and performance wise)?

yeah they are the sameexcept the BOVreleases the air making the PSHHHH noise and the DV justre use's the air (claming to make a pshh noise that i have never herd).... but its really all on personal prefference if you want the noise BOV if you dont DV if you dont wanna be flamed but still want"SOME" noise The Splitter Dv is perfect... Now some people say BOV are not for audi's all all that good stuff!!! but its really a myth( just if you decide you want a BOV just say you have a DV) It will save you a headach trust me because i have a B.... DV and its works perfectly onmine and i have no problems

Ok Ill restore it, I did pee my pants a little laughing..... But its still wrong... But Im going to restore it anyways. Thats JUST the kind of mood Im in tonight.
