Default Blinking E-Brake Light when driving

It also beeps at me like 3-4 times then light and sound goes away. Is it telling me my pads are gone?? Or theres a problem with the e-brake?
Can anyone help me please?

Is your ABS light on as well?

If you ABS light is on you could have a bad ABS Control module.

What year is your car?

What year is your car????

If its your front pads then you will see (!) (i think, well at least im pretty sure) If its your rear pads there will be a "Brake" light blinking 4 times and 3 beeps..

My best bet though.. is that your pads are wearing down and your brake fluid is dropping down, therefor the brake fluid sensor is triggered every time your car rocks back and forth....

I dont think worn pads would wear down your brake fluid......

Check your Brake Fluid Resevoir... make sure its topped off... if its not ... top it off.. get in your car and pump the brakes .

Do the rears even have wear sensors?

But when the pads wear out the fluid level drops

The rears have no sensors

2002 A4 3.0 no sport package not sure if that would help but yeah 4 lights 3 beeps sounds right i looked at the rear pads but i don't think the pads are even visable they're so gone. And no the abs light does not come on (O) is the front brake sensor. Not on either.

Also its pretty cold up here and i notice overnight if i set the ebrake it tends to stay locked in the morning is that the cables binding? i talked to a guy at the audi dealer and he said its the moisture after you drive a little while then set the brake the pad freezes its self to the disc. I think hes wrong cuase after i begin moving it would break the ice off and viola but it take about 15 mins of driving before i can feel the pads letting off the rotors anythoughs.

Does it beep one cycle.. or during your drive does it also beep once in a while.... Try topping off your brake fluid because just recently whenever i made a right turn in my car it would beep and flash at me because the fluid in the resavoir was tripping the fluid sensor...

Umm.. whatever it says on the cap.. i totally forget what we put in mine!!!! you could unscrew it and you should see fluid at the top... Im sure you gotta fill it up an oz or somthing..

Its funny how brake fluid is one of the cheapest fluids for your car.. and it can also be the most harmful if you ever loose a lot of fluid.. good bye to stopping!!!!!! lol
