mine makes a sort of buzzing / grinding sound for a second or so upon startup and i've been told that this is the SAP but i really don't like the noise. Would replacing the pump make it silent again?

The rear of the engine?
Did you inspect for cracked/split hoses? Is the car running normally, or has it lost power?
Sqeeking usually is belts, but the rear of the engine there are no belts. Just the cam chain. Lots of vacuum lines though.

Up date looked at it with my GFs dad he is the head of the fleet of my home city but don’t know much about turbos
he said the noise is also coming form the back of the engine and thinks it could be an exhaust leak
he says when it gets hot enough it seals up if it is a really small leak
this explanation works for the sound coming form the back and the pitch changing with the RPMs
prolly needs a new gasket but ill prolly throw on a hi flow cat just incase
but ill keep yall updated
thanks!
