bizzare sound just sfter start up!?
So just got my Audi and now when I start it and rev it makes like a squeaking noise the increases with the engine speed. I have no clue what it is, sounds like maybe it has something to do with the turbo as it does not make a sound until about 2.5k the tricky part is it goes away after about one minute and only when the engine has not been on for a while, any guesses? Thanks!

My thought was the SAP, but the sound should stay the same, & not change with engine RPM. It sounds like a dentist drill, almost like a blown turbo.
If the sound does change with RPM's, then my guess is on a pulley bearing going out.

ORIGINAL: Apdl
if it is the bering then would it not be a constant shound not only lasting 60-5 seconds depending on the duration between driving

My old MR2 did this, turned out to be the alternator belt. Check to make sure your belt doesnt have cracks or pits in the ribs and also make sure the tensioner is correctly positioned.
