Default best spark plugs for APR chiped 00' A4

i have a 2000 1.8T FWD with the APR chip, it's time to change the spark plugs and i was wondering if anybody knows which are the best for an APR chiped engine, also what do they have to be gaped to? thanks ....by the way my car is completely stock except for the chip.

You want a .028 gap for chipped and BKR6E is a good plug.

what would be the difference if i decided to go with the NGK Platinums? would i still gap it to .028, isn't that making the gap smaller? what are the stock plugs? thanks guys

The stock plug is a PFR6Q and platinum. Copper plugs do a little nicer job of pulling heat out of the chamber. Helps against knocking. Plus they're really cheap in comparison.

how much sooner would i have to change the plugs vs. the stock plugs? and isn't a .028 gap pretty small compared to .30?

A helluva lot cheaper... BKR6E at autozone is like $1.79 a piece. Compared to almost $10 a plug for the plats and the coppers do a better job, but need changed more often.

i agree, with past car experience...it's better to spend a little more and not have to worry. i'm going to go with the platinums, now the question is should they still be gapped to .028 or should i leave it at .030? remember the car is chipped...
