Default Best site for audi geniune parts???

Well its time for repairs on the car, i bought it with the knowledge it was soon going to be needing valve cover gaskets, timing belt, and a water pump. I know its gonna cost an arm and a leg but i i paid 9,400 for the car and its a 98 2.8 qauttro thats flawless with 67k so fair enough right? PLz post sites that sell audi geniene or very good brand oem parts. Thnx

I wouldnt go with used. Audi has high prices guys, but its kind of (remember I said kind of) worth it dont you think? They are pricier than other places e.g. ecstuning and places like that, however, you know your getting it from AUDI and chances are (very good chances) that they wont give you crappy parts, because you can screw them over if they do. Also I believe they do give you warranties on the part, am i right about this Jest? brrrman? david? anyone?

umm, I would tend to disagree with ya there. An OEM part is an OEM part no matter where you get it. Parts have their own warranties and are valid as long as the dealer is an authorized dealer. If a company is an authorized bosch or valeo dealer then the warranties that come with those parts are the same as if you bought them straight from the audi dealer. I would actually advise against getting parts from the audi dealer as they are natoriously bad at taking responsibility for broken parts...(e.i. if your timing belt goes and the entire engine is fried..they will replace your timing belt for free but your **** outta luck for the rest of your engine). You won't find any greater peace of mind by going to the audi dealer than if you bought off of ECS or another good OEM part distributor, and you'll save a bundle by cutting the audi dealer out of the picture entirely.

Sorry CL, wish I lived closer to ya cuz I'd probably buy from you..but I can't stand the audi dealerships around here.

ECS, Clair, and impexfap are all OEM dealers. I have bought quite a bit of used parts from germanautodismantlers . Sometimes there is no reason to pay for a new part. For instance my MAF sensor died. A new one costs hundreds, a used one costs 40 bucks, and even included the housing!

I never previously bought used parts, but then I realized that the rest of my car is used, so why not.

I buy from Dads auto in Sacramento.
