A lot of people dont use it, but I think its important to have on mainly to keep water/rodents out like Ace said. Plus god forbid you bottom out it will keep you from scratching the **** out of your oil pan.

yeah, mine is sitting in the barn from the first time i worked on my car, too much of a pain in the *** with the amount of time i spend under my car.

ive seen them made out of aluminum, and what not but `50 for plastic adn 90 for shipping you can mold it your self

I riped mine off because it was a pain in the *** for oil changes but I look after the underside of the car the same as the shine on the top

Its pretty simple. Ive taken mine off/put back on countless times. I can get r off in about 2 minutes including jacking the car up. I remember when I did my first oil change with this car and I was like "WHAT THE ****!" I had never seen such a thing.

Takes me longer to jack up the car than to remove the pan. Really, it takes like 2 minutes to remove it.

Anyway, driving without it, is like wearing jeans with no underwear. You've got a little less protectionfor the underside, butyou'll still be functional.

I only jack it up on one side= 45 seconds
Taking off the 5 screws holding the belly pan in= 1 minute
Patting myself on the back for a super fast job well done=15 seconds
