Default belly pan

alright since im going to be putting in my coilovers soon and the entrance to my work is pretty steep and i think im going to be bottoming out should i spend money on a belly pan or should everything be alright? ill be alright everywhere else but to get to work it will scrap.

What kind are you looking at? The OEM replacement or the dieselgeek pan?

any pan that will not screw with my underbody. i hear that the w8 passat one fits b5's and is cheaper then going to audi

I've broken the oem and w8 pans with just the 4" snow in NJ. In my opinion, they're both useless.

Dieselgeeks pan is aluminum as thick as a quarter. $250.

$250 is pricy for a metal plate tho anything cheaper wth same quality?

That looks sweet. is it aluminum and how thick is it?. Is this stout enough to be a 'skip plate' ordoes it offer the same protection as the plastic belly pan?
