Before & After B6-Phase 1
Hey Guys. This is my first Audi and hopefully not the last. Anyhow, I bought this 2002 A4 1.8TQM about 2 months ago. I have been slowly working on the exterior mods first, as I can fit into the budget. Here's the list:
- Clear corner DIY mod
- Tint all around
- Painted lowers (DIY, my first)
- Lip spoiler (")
- 19x8.5 HP Lightning (Evo's) wrapped in 245/35/19 Dunlop's
- Forge DV
Pretty proud of myself, because I'm on a slim budget...I'm guessing I have $1,300 in it thus far, which I don't think is too damn bad considering prices these days. Paint was not too terrible for a first-time, but it could have been a little glossier. It can be compounded down I suppose. I know the wheels are cheaper versions of 3-piece, but for $300 I am not going to be fussy. I'm planning perfromance mods next and I am open to any and all suggestions. Here's the near-future planned mods:
- Already got the DV
- GIAC FX flash, injectors
- Milltek or Neuspeed Cat-Back
Trying to hold it down in Minnesota, so I appreciate your feedback.

great job dude. I'm lovin the way the wheels look on the car! The finish is awesome. The silver parts of the wheel compliment the car's color while the darker parts of the wheel compliment the tinted windows.

I'm about 2 hours west of the Twin Cities...In farm country. Our city is building a new airport and last night, I went out and broke in the new runway...Not many people get the chance to run it down a super-long strip of new cement We have about 25k+ population and there are probably 3-5 other sets of rings around: A B5 S4, couple A6's and an B6 A8L. Safe to say, compared to some Mustang's, Camaro's, Tans-Am's and some ricers'...we're getting some looks. Again, thanks, cause reading threads on here is a great way to figure out what you like/don't like, as far as modding goes.
What order with the performance stuff?

Strictly my $0.02.
Always chip. Then build as budget allows.
People will argue to do other things first, but for sheer "bang for your buck", nothing will top it.
Your ride looks outstanding. It's a quick example for people to see what can be done with a little $ and a lotta' love.
