Bang For The Buck?

Hey guys, I'm new to this site but im totally intreseted in getting an Audi and I was wondering what
you think is the best value'd A4. Like what year do you reccomend, upgrades, model, anything
like that. I figure if I going to get an A4, might aswell talk to the ppl who know most about them.

So anything like what year, size engine, whats best to start out for body work upgrades, or
engine upgrades.. Just give me the downlo or any pointers would be very appreciated! Thnx a ton guys!

Of the B5 chassis, the 99.5 is a good year, has all the cosmetics of a 2000/2001. Its cheaper than a newer model too. The 1.8T is also the better engine for modding. First engine mod for the money is a chip, search the forums for the various opinions on chip manufacturers.

I have a feeling you wanted to make your screen name Cameron, like me. I also noticed in your sig you are 50% german... me too. Weird.

I'm gonna be honest in the short time I've had my Audi, I've had to spend all my money fixing it, and haven't had time to save up for any worthwhile upgrades (read 3k$ turbo)[sm=dontgetit.gif]. If you want a fast car get an older turbo car, DSM's are good and all wheel drive. But if you're more into handling look into Datsun 510's, those old RWD beasts handle amazingly.[sm=groupwave.gif]

I have a audi a4 from 2003 , Its an amzing car , no problems very reliable. I would recommend you to get the V6 2.5 Liter version. It has very good throttle responds and quite quick in acceleration. If you looking for something more faster then i would reccomd going for the quattro version. All wheel drive version. It has a quicker pick up , but slightly only!

good luck
Hope you get an audi
