Ok so i looked all over this forum about DV's and couldn't find anything on the apr 1 dvor really much the bailey's only thing i found was that the bailey's isnt plastic (wow just what i was worried about) and the apr 1 you dont have to worry about cleaning it...... so put urself in my position you find both for aboutthesame pricethe bailey's was used for about 10k nothing wrong and the apr 1 is still in the box one is at 100 the other 110 which one would be the best?

I'd go with the R1, because I have it . The choice is COMPLETELY up to your discretion, whichever you want is the better one. Seriously. Both are really good.

You need a intake and not a dv for that. Any dv for the 1.8t will be fine to use. Forge, Apr, Hyperboost, turboxs, etc

If you want more sound, go with a forge splitter or gfb hybrid. The splitter sounds great and is much cheaper than the GFB

ok so lets say i get the forge splitter combo DV .... would there be any boost loss oposed to the regular Dv's... because that forge splitter is lookin kinda nice just not for $170 i dont know whether you just helped me pick one out or made it more complicated

There will be no boost loss, thats the point of a upgraded dv.

Ok ok was just making sure since it does the little Bov thing i figured it wouldn't be as good well thank you for helping im getting the forge splitter combo. (i can now sleep at night)

I have a Baileys and love it, It's been in for approx. 15,000 miles and have not had any problems whatsoever. If you are mostly looking for sound though you would probably want to get the splitter and an intake.
