BAD NEWS: 710N made no difference for APR Chip
Well, I installed my 710N Saturday and waited until today to get my brake caliper shipped in. So, I've been waiting anxiously to test out the new DV and find out if it was the remedy for my ill-performing chip. NEGATIVE! Absolutely no difference. Something else has to be wrong though because the car is honestly pathetic. From 5,500 to the chip increased 7,100 redline takes forever with pitiful acceleration in that range. 4,000 and below also sucks. My only half way decent grunt is between 4,000 and 5,500. I'm sure I'm in my powerband but still, I know something's up. The only other thing I can think to do is by a boost guage to see what I'm running. I tightened up all the hose clamps I saw and I just can't think of anything else. Got any more ideas? Thanks!

Cut out that mid muffler. I can't honestly remember how much of a difference the exhaust made on mine. I only drove for about a mile before that muffler met the cutting torch. I'd reccomend at least that for a chipped engine. Granted, not exactly a Borla cat back, but getting rid of that beast helps. Has the CEL come on at all?

RE: BAD NEWS: 710N made no difference for APR Chip
Are there any tricks for looking for a boost leak? A full exhaust is coming eventually but I still feel the problem lies elsewhere. It must be a leak. I'm gonna look things over again soon. If I can't find anything I'm gonna call APR and see what they say. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to hear me say their product made a minimal difference but hopefully they'll be cool about it, because I'm definently not dissing the chip (I've read to many positive reviews). Thanks again!
