The B5 came out in 97 (i think) and it lasted till 2001.. B6 was 2002 - 2005 ... B7 is 2005 - ( )
So if you figure.. about 3-4 more years.. The RS4 is probably going to be the next big thing though!!!!!

the b8 (or hell could be called something else) could come out in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years.....

It will have a 2.2L, 20V, I-5 turbo with 240hp. Or a 3.6, 280 horse V6. The I-5engine will have an aluminum block and be situated with 70% of its weight to the rear of the front axle. 60/40 rear/front torque split. 6-speed conventional manual, 7-speed DSG. The car itself will weigh 3100lbs wet (HAH) and here is a concept sketch...
