b7s weigh about what the b5s do. And for the record, a ko4 does not flow near enough air to run 12s.

RE: B7 time slip database
yea I thought b7s were much heavier than b5's...
yea... i dont know what boost levels 2.0T's run but im sure a k04 could get you into the mid-low 13's... im sure if APR comes out w/ a strage 3 w/ the 28R that would be into the 12s

Most likly. A gt28r can flow 320hp. But my guess is Apr will develop a big turbo using the gt28rs and run lower boost levels. The only reason Apr used a gt28r for the normal stage 3 kit was for drivibilty, it spools really fast. Now that the 2.0t is bigger, they will def use a gt28rs, has so much more potentiol, it can flow more along the lines of 400hp.

yea, the 28RS and the 2.0L block are a good match.. not just for audis.. I know someone going to a 28RS on his Mazda Speed Protoge... thats a 2.0L block as well... it seems to spool real nice with a 2l and 28rs

I think a b7 chipped is as far as I would ever go. If b5s wiegh 3200 pounds then why do they run high 15s when compared to a similar powered and heavier weighted dsm (210/214 torque) runs 14.8-9. Or am I totally off the bench racing? I got the dsm times from my dsm stock.

Thats not rocket science. Differnt motors have differnt characteristics. The 2.0t power band is different from the 2.0t powerband. Instead of the famous 1.8t falling on its face at 5500rpms, the 2.0t keeps pullings. The 6sp makes a BIG differnence, gearing alone can drop .5 of a et. The clutch setup is different on the 2.0t, its stronger and has more clamping force for a harder launch, like i said, its not rocket science.
