Does the B7 really have 200HP?
Some people say the B7 has more than 200HP because it has a turbo, and Audi lied on the paperwork to have 200 stock HP.
Moreover, it is legal to list a car with a less HP than the actual, but not the other way around.

Anyone has idea on what is the real b7 2.0T HP?

 

im sure it has a bit more performnce than actually listed. and yes its legal underestimate.

Over estimation would make them run into false andvertisement and a whole $hit storm

 

depends on which B7 your talking about, A4 q 2001 TO 2004 is 220 HP at 6300 rpm and others leave that for dead

the 05.5 came with 2.0T engines at "200"hp . pre 05 was 170hp.

2001 a4 1.8t has 170 hp. 1.8/170= .010588235

2.0/200= .01

2.0/? = .0105882

? = 188.8895185 hp.

jk just thought i'd break out the calculator and try to figure it out but it doesn't make sense. plus weight makes a big difference too.

 

Well every car maker advertises higher city/highway mpg that what is actual because they base their #'s on a dyno-type machine and not real world roads with inclines etc. that have a big role in your real mpg.... Soooo i would expect their claimed hp #'s to be slightly more accurate, but if its an actual 197 hp for example, i can see them rounding up to 200hp.
