what is the B6 alarm suppose to sound like? when i hit my panic button its a pretty quiet beeping noise. doesnt use the horn or anything. is this normal?

 

yes your alarm is weak shiiiit, its not loud and it sucks

Not that it matters... I hear the loudest bloody car alarms going off.. nobody cares.
The day I bought my trans am... the owner locked the keys in the car... We were a couple of guys, downtown toronto, using a coat hanger to get this thing open... aftermarket alarm was blaring the whole time. Nobody cared. Turrets however... people would think twice.

yea i would rather have a quieter alarm, something loud enough to scare someone away and thats it. most are obnoxious and just innapropreatley loud.

 

How about a warning alarm to get away from the car, followed by a 50,000 volt taser hooked up to the body panels

I knew this one guy who had a taurus and hooked up this alarm that had a woman's voice and it said something like, "Help me, I'm being attacked" or something like that. The funniest thing is it didn't have an engine shutoff so he could set it off while we were driving the car. He would do it all the time down in Ocean City. You know it actually sounds kinda stupid now. It's funny what amuses you as a kid is really retarded later on in life.

Point being that alarm got heads turning! I'm sure government official put the stop to that alarm company's tactic.
