B6 bumper repair
So I accidentally pulled too far into a parking spot at Costco, didn't even feel the bumper touching the curb, and when I backed out of the spot, my lower-front bumper (grey "Sport" part) was 2/3 pulled off of the bumper assembly!!!
Hardly any noticable damage was done, but it's not 100% fixed. One of the screw-mounts is broken, so I figure that I can glue/epoxy that to fix, and the "corner" mount (closest to the driver's side window---or the upper-right corner of the lower assembly) is torn internally, which also can be epoxied.
Anyone have any pics on how to remove/install the lower front bumper assembly for a B6? I searched and didn't find much. If not, I'm just gonna go for it. I don't want to get ripped off by the stealership or by a body shop, nor do I want any "rigging" of the main bumper assembly (e.g. epoxying the broken piece to the main bumper...)
It is almost unnoticeable from more than 8 feet away, but it's not perfectly seated as it should be. And that bugs.
