B5 verses B6

B5 verses B6
I have searched around but have found little info on this and was wondering if someone had comprised a good list of differences. I know the B6 has obvious styling differences inside and out as well as a more rigid chassis but I'm curious what sort of options, features, capabilities the B6 gained that the B5 doesnt have.
I'm mostly interested as I am strongly considering a B5 S4 but I do like the styling of the B6 A4's as well.... and I'm sort of curious what benifits (not looking at the performance aspect as that is obviously in the S4's court) the B6 chassis holds over the B5.
Thanks,
_Kris

Stock B6 comes with more HP, but weighs a bit more. Once they're both chipped, they're about at the same HP, but I believe the B5 is a bit faster, as it weighs less.
Other than that and the looks, I'm not sure there's much of a difference. (oh, and the B6's will be newer and have less miles).

I'm well aware of weight, appearance and performance differences but the features/options/ammenities/electrical/neat-stuff is what I'm curious about.
For instance, here are some things I've noticed between myself and a friend whom is an Audi enthusiast.
B5 Single zone climate control -- B6 Dual zone climate control
B5 Auto-dimming rear-view mirror -- Auto-dimming/compass rear-view mirror
B5 Heated front seats -- B6 Heated front + rear seats
I know these arent equipped on all B5 or B6's but they are options that as far as I can tell the B6 had available that the B5 didn't. I'm curious what other sorts of things the B6 had over the B5 that might sway my interest/dishearten me from wanting a B5.
EDITED: Thanks Bondga

I like the interiors more on the B6 and I think the car is a bit more rigid than the B5. I have the 3.0l and I was looking at 2.8l B5s and there was no comparison. The B6 with the 3.0l was just a nicer car all around.

I don't know if you guys are understanding my post. I am not concerned with the performance/handling/weight/etc of the two, I know well about both of them in that regaurd. I am concerned with features/creature comfort stuff/VAG-Com options/etc ONLY. The fact you guys continue to argue about chassis stiffness or hp output of the 1.8T proves you didn't read very carefully into my request.

He can just get a B5 the year they began putting 170hp into them. Its either 1999.5 + or 2000.5 + can't remember. But I'd go B5 if you plan on modding, and B6 if you just wanna leave it at a chip and have a little more luxury. All your choice.
