Default B5 rear wheel

Have any of you out there put 10inch wide wheel in the rear of a B5? i just bought some 19s 8.5 for front and 10 for back, they are Nad wheels and look nice. i got a 2 inch drop and did some grinding on the front and same with the rear, i do body work so for the rear i pounded out and grinded and made it look smooth, i just want to see some pics if any of you got them, im supposed to get wheels in this week and i know 10 is to wide but i did some custom work and hopefully all goes good

No, i had them rolled before, but i did some custom body work that still looks original, grinded down to the very edge of rim on fender and for rear pounded out and did some grinding and smoothed out quarter panel so it SHOULD be fine. best thing is that it looks so close to stock but if you pay attention there is a slight flare.

Id love to flare my fender's but I dont have the experience or the drive to pay for something like that at the moment. You do most the body work right? What do you think a shop would charge for that work?

No idea what they would charge. Ive been doing body work since i was like 11 years old with dad so i have experience but dont really do it anymore. I dont like the wide flares, they can look exaggerated but hopefully i get some pics up soon.

If you have not bought the rims already I would not do it because the handleing you lov so much will go right out the window. The quattro system requires balance which is the reason that by simplying running different tires of the same size the car will drive that crap. I can not even begin to imagine what two different size tires would do to the handleing.
