RE: B5 or B6???
Check, a chipped A4 would spank most lower end 3 series...wouldn't it?
And Jestnomen...you got the drift...sorry...I am just now appreciating my car and learning terminology...I am upgrading from a 1988 Delta Royale 88...to a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3...to a 1991 Mercury Capri...to my current 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic...so bear with me for awhile...when a website or service calls it a wing...I'll go with it...and I still stand by that I think it does a lot for the car's appeal from the rear...

RE: B5 or B6???
i havn't heard of many BMWs being beaten by an A4, that has always been audi's weak point IMO. chipped... i dunno, i don't think so. i think that one would be driver skill. it wouldn't be a 'spanking' in either case... but stock BMW vs Audi? no contest. add some more like intake, exhaust, and chip? yeah, you'll take em. but then you're taking a baseline BMW against ur tuned out, much more expensive car that's supposed to be it's competitor.
i love audi's as much as u guys, but i'd never buy one for sport. the B7 on the other hand... that's gonna be DAMN interesting.

lip spoiler: no air btw spoiler and trunk lid, more than likely a duck tail
spoiler: small amount of air, usually follows cars body lines
wing: commonly found on the civic [:'(] lot's of air btw deck and wing... usually find the word 'universal' before it. extreme threat of being punched in the face mounting it on an audi.
