Default B5 2.8 overheating

Hi, I am new here and i have a 96' 2.8Q with an overheating issue.....the coolant level is fine and as far as i can tell the fan is working properly. Any help would be greatly appreitiated....

It may not be holding pressure, check the lines for any moisture at the connections, the coolant level may look fine but it'll leak very slowly. Maybe your water pump is bad or the thermo is stuck closed not allowing coolant to flow, or a faulty temp sensor just messing with the gauge reading.

ouch that hurt!!!!!!!!!! it is the thermo and i'm guessing it was stuck cause its working now......go figure, thanks for answering though

Hey no dissing of the 2.8 lol Remember I'm still faster stock, well atleast I am, don't know about the 12v lol
