B5 1.8T vs B6 1.8T

RE: B5 1.8T vs B6 1.8T
Well I looked at getting an S4 but to get one that I like (silver, black interior, tip) is hard around me. I find a bunch of black and yellow manual S4's but not many silver tips. Plus the few I found usually require the waterpump/timing belt/serpentine belt job plus a set of brakes and sometimes rotors. I figure with a B5 for around $11k plus another ~$5k in K04, GIAC, exhaust, wheels/tires, and brake upgrade I'm up to the price of an S4 with similar power. AWE claims about 247 crank HP and 295 ft/lbs with the setup I'm looking at.
But overall it seems like it's fairly split. 15-16 in favor of the B6. I personally prefer the looks of the B5 but since there isn't a huge overwhelming difference I'm thinking that I'll try to find a B5.

Haha, yes that is what we drive and yes they are very sexy. So B5...not as sexy but a little better if you're wanting to spec it out...for the time being anyways. Audi got away from that design for a reason...hmmm, yea

hi,
they both have their merits, for some reason, the back of the B6 reminds me of the back of the porche, tho obviously is very different to porsche. I think the B5 looks more hardcore sporty and well shaped and it's lighter, while the B6 looks a bit more fat and lazy (bulgy) slight exageration LOL. the back of the B5 has this squating cool look about it especially when you lower it and have wide tyres. I also like the cool lip edgeat the top of the boot. B6 might have a bit more bling factor...

that b5 was a bad choice to represent b5's if thats what your trying to do cause IMO that thing is ugly as *****. who shaves the rear doors but not the front?
and wing?
eww
and no making fun of amulet red, atleast make the b6 amulet red with painted lowers and sport wheels.
not the basic model.
you coul do the same thing the other way around with
and
i even gave you the advantage of the B5 not being stock, yet still ugly, uglier than stock, actually

i picked the b6 for two reasons, first b5 has no fender flares. i love the widebody look on any car. 2nd the b6 chassis was the first time the A4 had a laser welded chassis. 80% stiffer. in racing chassis is everything, making big power is easy all it takes is high credit limits.
