Well, now that it has been in for 24 hours I can give you some feedback. The shifts are much crisper, both in automatic mode and in tip mode. The half second pause between gears is not gone, no more "hunting". In it mode, the shift is almost instantaneous. There is no noticable increase in harshness in shifting. I'd recommend it. Cost installed at AWE was 300 dollars.

Sweetness..... So nothing negative to report on then??? I think the pause between shifts was a full second though??? Now its like .3 seconds er seomthing right???

Yeah i think it goes from 1 sec to .2 seconds.

I'll have to get one someday. After I get my tranny fluid changed though, which i keep putting off....

So why'd you go AWE over the GIAC tip chip? just curious...I'm probably gonna snag a tip chip one of these days, so I'd want to hear the pros and cons. I think cost is approx the same for both.

Oh, and onepoint8...how long has it been since you got your tranny flushed? Or are you on original fluid?
