I was looking online and i saw an 2006 Audi A4 for sale. It says front wheel drive is that true? Why would anyone get front over the ultimate quatro

 

less weight, living in a constant warm climate, better mpg, less $...that's just a few reasons why someone might get Frontrak over quattro

 

sombody who doesnt want or need awd, and also doesnt want or cant afford the few thousand $$$ it costs. Lets put it this way, if I lived in arizona or nevada (or some other ungodly dry place) and didnt plan to leave at all Id get a fwd, better gas mileage.

 

just cheaper and they feel they have no need for it

 

Or they can't find a quattro and get impatient..dunno who would do that though..

 

WHYYYYYYYYY.....[]......it is not that you need it.....but that you have it......I live in FL where I could NEVER see myself 'needing' it, but I wouldn't own the car if it didn't have awd.......(but I am more performance oriented......)

 

once u go awd you'll neva go back (or at least i won't) its just so superb to fwd or rwd...plus if ur a performance buff than ur gonna want awd just to have awd.
