Default auto rx

My 02 a4 1.8t has a decent amount of sludge building up. I have heard about sea foam and auto rx. I think I am going to add some auto rx to my oil next time I get it changed(use non synthetic oil with it right?) Where can I get auto rx?.. and does anyone have any experience with it?

The testimonials on the site say it's the greatest thing on the planet, obviously, but has anyone here tried this stuff? I'm a bit leery of pouring anything other than gas and oil in my engine. Definately need it though Oil pressure light will come on after aggressive driving, or just driving for a long time, if I stop and idle for a while. My theory- when the oil gets heated so much, its viscosity drops and because it's not as thick, oil pressure drops and light turns on. I'm not sure sludge is the cause of all this but maybe some people here have had the same problem and Auto RX did the trick? *hopes*

Yes lots of people have tried it and they have only good things to say about it.

Tried it and cut open filters after the clean and rinse phase. They were rather nasty. Can't say i noticed increased performance, but my engine is probably a lot cleaner.

did you do application 1 or 2? I was planning on changing my oil to non synthetic(with a new filter of course), adding the auto rx(how much?) and driving 1000 or so miles and then just switching back to synthetic oil.

I did one treatment (clean and rinse phase). the clean phase runs for 1500 miles, the rinse runs 2000. With such a short OCI I would use dino oil for both those processes.

what does short oci mean? and are you supposed to drive it in any special way during the cleaning phase?

OCI = oil change interval

Drive the car normally...
