I like the seats in my b5 sport but i have been thinking about putting a suede insert in the center of the seat.

 

well considering i have a b5 and its a personal preference i do think they suck... they are too stiffand no lumber support, atleast the ones i have in my car, and now they are cracking... luv my car, just wish they put more into the seats, again thats a personal opinion...

i guess there is no way to fix the cracks? or maybe to stop them from spreading?

 

You can patch 'em, but it looks like azz... atleast from waht I've seen w/ patching.

My B5 has the heated leather with power lumbar support - can't really complain. Last leather's I had were in my 93 TSi AWD which definitely hug you more - but weren't as comfortable for LD trips as the leathers in my A4.

 

i agree, i like the A4 seating because they're very adjustable and is perfectly comfortable seats

 

ya mine are heated two, but manual, maybe thats why... if i could add a little more lumbar supprt, tweak it to where i want them to be, i bet i'd like them more... by no means am i saying all audi seats suck, just the ones i have in my car

 

ya those are nice and would look pretty good in my black car, but i bet they come with a nice price too

 

Just as easy as it is to replace the seat skin, it sucks but can be done. Remove seat, unhook seat skin (lots of tiny hooks usually), put heater pad on top of foam and put back together. You can find aftermarket installers for them.

 

The heated seats can get pretty hot. I almost burnt my *** a few times when I still had my 01' Jetta that had the heated leather seats. Must be an Audi/VW thing

 

let me tell you the s6 seats are amazing. even the rear seats have more lateral support then the stock b5 ones tho

 

hey jeff is the s6 you got hand stiched? like the dash and evreything? i was in one of those and damn is it nice!!!!
