RE: audi allroad tranny mounts?
so i just installed mine today and they actually did make a noticeable improvement...the write-up i used says to recenter your snub mount, which i didn't do, so that may have something to do with it as well....the allroad tranny mounts slightly raise the snub mount in its housing, so if you don't recenter the housing after installing the tranny mounts, there's less room for vertical movement of the snub....but shifts feel more solid and there is less movement of the tranny and engine during heavy acceleration. thumbs up. EDIT: i found them on purems.com for 50 bucks each iirc...only other thing you need are two 75 cent bolts from your local hardware store, and about an hour of your time...half hour if you've got ramps and a good size jack.
