and me and the chipped jetta tied... my awd was a huge factor... he said he ran a 15.8 in recent conversation also...so there!!!

The A4 is a good choice. I assume because you are asking about turbo lag, you are considering the 1.8T model. Might I recommend the n/a engine? (2.8 or 3.0). It is more reliable and less finicky than the 1.8T. Make sure if you get the 2.8 model, it is a 30v model because the 12v models are just damn slow.

Oh, I didn't realize you were looking at brand new cars. Thats beyond my scope of knowledge, I can't even remember what FSI stands for.

the 2.0t and a chip is all you will need to keep with the 3.0, you'll be thuroly impressed.

 

go for the Audi hands down. i just bought my A4 and when i went to the dealership, i testdrove a VR6 Jetta, and a newer 3 series BMW. that was all i needed to convince me to buy the Audi. superior car all around IMO.

 

on a side note, would you guys agree that just about every Jetta you see has a good looking female behind the wheel? I've pretty much come to expect it when I see one pull up at a light ...
