When car starts up it runs and cools but if I get to a traffic light it starts to do a little rev or jump, or something(hard to describe). It cools with the Compressor light on but will go off if car is idling at the traffic light. It will not come back on until the car has sat not running for a while. (Guess it has to cool off). Anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem? Thank you.

 

I'm into a 99.5 A4. Some AC issues as well but not like yours. Since the AF community has ignored you (this is not a sexy topic like exhaust sounds)
I'll try get a small mini forum group going.
My car's AC runs OK 1st thing out in the AM...fan's weak(one speed only) but if I get the system going on auto and econ, then shut off econ after a few minutes it's tolerable in the summer on the highway.
I have changed fuses in both the AC and Fan slots.
Gotten a gas charge and had the system checked by a local shop/NOT Audi tho.
There I'm stuck. AC runs some of the time. But when it shuts down it's miserable. Same routine, but when I switch off the econ the whole system goes down and I haven't been able to get it up again.
I've recently printed off the Climate Control codes and will attempt diagnosis
in the cool of the morning.
