Audi A4 Navigation Option
Hi all,
I just came back from test driving a brand new A4. The car I drove did not have the navigation option, but I liked everything about it.
Can anyone tell me if it is worth the over $2k price? Is it easy to use? Is it clear to understand while driving? Does it use GPS, as well?
If anyone can provide me details or experiences about it, I will be grateful.
Thanks in advance!
Henry

ABSOLUTELY worth the price. The Audi navigation system is one of my favorite features in my car. I use it several times a week to get me places. The fact you can use two SD cards to load MP3's is also great!

Thanks!
Jestnomen,
Does the navigation dealie also talk to you as you drive or do you have to look at the screen? Is it GPS-based? Can you choose street-only directions, as opposed to highways and freeways, as well?
Thanks again!

Yes the navigation talks you through every turn. It is gps based, as are all navigation systems. You can select intersections, landmarks (gasstations, banks, libarary, etc. ) addresses. I suggest you go to your dealer and ask for a little tour of the navigation system. I think you will be impressed with it.
