Default ATTN: aRIf ! Question for you

Hey, did you ever get that B5 of yours dynoed with the after the new turbo kit and all?

Just curious if you did and if so, what were the numbers?

I can speek for arif since we are buddies and i helped him with his setup. He got dyno'd at like 276 whp @26psi i think. (I think it says in his sig.) since then he got a 3" exhaust and hes gotta get it dyno'd again. Hes out of town right now so i dunno if he will reply anytime soon.

Wow, I didn't know he had a spokesman but seriously, that's a nice number. A lil' better than what I expected and with a larger exhaust I know that will get significantly get better. Thanks for the info onepoint8tee

OH yea... 290... I think he did 2 dyno runs.. that was on pump gas as far as i know... Insanehatter?

I belive it was a pump/100 octane mix... the only thing this does is curb detonation, since his tune doesnt advance anymore timing for race gas.

race gas will let him run higher PSI though, around 25-26PSI, and if he runs straight race, he could up the timing... but the only way to do that is re-tune

Im pretty sure he normaly runs 24-26psi on pump for daily driving, and he was talking about going to 30 psi on race for his next dyno.

dbc's I have noticed have much less problems than the dbw.. basically if you have vag, log the car... if you pull too much timing drop the boost, or put higher octane in..

if you run fine at 26psi on pump, thats great.. get 2 dyno runs... 1 on pump /26psi , and one on race / 30PSI.. isnt 30psi out ofthe elims efficiency map?
