Default ATF oil cooler lines HELP

well I'm almost done with my timing belt change - I have an automatic so I have two additional lines that enter the radiator, one top left, one bottom left. I'm now having trouble getting these to "re-seat"(is that a word) I can't get them to go back in - I'm going to run into town in a little bit and see if I can find a clamp that would allow me to put some pressure on it - they are in such a weird area that I can't use any muscle. anyone every had this problem? is there a trick to this - no special instructions in the Bentley so....

thanks

You don't need any muscle to get them back in. All they need is to be perfectly lined up & slide right back in. Lube them with a little bit of ATF.

I've tried and tried and can't get these things to go back in - They didn't come out eazy I had to use a screw driver to slowly pop then off. any other idea's - we took a trip into town and I can't find any clamps that are deep enough to get me anywhere near where I would need to be.
