Default ARGGG (ABS Light) asap)

[&:] I got my car back from the people we bought it from, after they fixed the number of things that had to be done. I got in it after they delievered it, and the ABS light is on. The dealer guy said it was because they had to do so much work on the brakes-etc.

He said to drive it for a while and it would reset and be ok.[X(] Does this sound right? Or like I got ripped? It wasnt on when we dropped it off.

its possible it will go off. They may have bled the brakes, which would throw a code. But after a while it may go away. Check your brake fluid to make sure there is enough in the reservoir. If it doesn't go away in a day or two I would go back there.

if you had time to kill you could check the abs sensors. since you said they did a lot of brake work mabe one is loose or just dirty. they like to be cleen, they are very sensitive

I just replace my abs sensor and I had to take it out again and spay brake cleaner in there and blow it out with compressed air before the light would go out

everytime i do i dont see my car for a week. im probably gonna keep it for a while and just sell it. a 16yr old doesnt have enough cash to keep up this car, and this will probably be the last audi i ever buy that doesnt have a warranty.
