from all the research ive done the R1 seems to be the best way to go. am i wrong because i am about to order it and i wanna know if there is something better.

I think the Forge valve is more reliable but of course you gotta do the maintance on that valve.

Just simple oiling most of the time, and if the valve ever blows or leaks its really easy to re-build or swap out different strength springs.

I love my R1 has a 710n before and it was a huge difference. Not sure how it specifically compairs to the forge valves but I know im happy.

taking it apart, cleaning it, and greasing it. https://www.audiforums.com/m_732016/tm.htm a lot of people dont do it and their dv still runs perfectly fine. but if you do service it, it is pretty much guaranteed not to ever fail

FYI ours valves are warrantied for life. And it transfers if you sell the valve.
