RE: APR ECU Upgrade. My input!
Bad new folks, Look @ my Dyno sheet.
I went to RR Motors in Gardena, formerly R&D.
I have no idea why the hell the power is so low, thats not even stock I believe..
I DO feel a difference though from before I got my ECU flashed. It is a lot more responsive and the boost kicks in harder, and you can hear it now. I've let 2 of my buddies drive the car every now and then while it was stock, and then I let them drive it today and they feel a MAJOR difference.. So I don't know what else to say...
Help?

The hp numbers chip manufacturers refer to are hp nubers generated at the crank just as when a car manufacturer releases performance specs. You gain 50 hp from a chip giving you 200hp or so at the crank tested on an engine dyno not the dyno you went to. On a mustang dyno it tells hp numbers at the wheels which you motor must turn the flywheel or in your case flexplate, clutch or in your case torque converter, all the little god damn gears in the tranny, drive shafts, rotors and wheels and you also have drag created by the bearings and breaks that also rob minute amounts of hp. Your dyno looks normal for a hp rating at the wheels with a chip. Your torque spike shows the spooling of the turbo and full boost looks like 3000rpm, I would say your right on track.

take crank HP, subtract 14.6%, then take that and subtract around 10% to 15% and you'll get about true HP to tha wheels.
HP to tha wheels will alwaiz be much less than HP to tha crank. imagine wha your HP would be if it wasnt chipped.

" I don't get it, why does it look so low?"
... " But hey, I did whoop on a Scion tC lastnight! "
Lol
