APR chip to be installed tonight
I got a 2 program (stock and 91) APR ECU from a guy over on AZ and its out for delivery right now. My car has always been chipped since I got it( no idea who) my boost gauge said 10-12 psi. Got it retuned by inmotion tuning - still 10-12psi, so yeah I know its most likely my car but hell I want this to be an easy fix and just plop in the APR ECU and see my boost go up to 17-18. chances are nope, not gonna happen but I'll keep my hopes up so that I can be let down hard by this not working.
Also, If this doesn't work, and I have the same boost as before I'll know for a fact that its my car and that I need to have my mechanic do some work to it. In that case my other tuning is golden and I'll sell the APR 2 program ECU.
So, if your interested in an APR ECU 96-99.5 AEB nDBW ECU with flipswitch. And whatever coding you want (I'll change it to your car) PM me some offeres for consideration. keep in mind that this would cost $550($400 for chip and $150 for two programs) + shipping for the program not including the ECU. No lowball offers please

RE: APR chip to be installed tonight
OK - got the ECU installed - got the TBA done and I went to recode the soft coding for my car and it wouldn't change - every time that I pressed "DO IT" the ECU would reset and the soft coding would go back to the original. I figured it didn't change anything and took the car out. Car drove like normal so I have no idea what changing it from 06201(manual) to 06251(tip) would have done. Bad news is its still the same as my other chips, so the problem, like I thought is my car.
Another thing I thought was weird was that I hit 10-12 PSI whither I was in stock or 91 mode. I'm thinking the was just due to my MBC. Maybe if I had my N75 plugged in it would have been less.
Anyone interested in a APR ECU . I'll post it in the classifieds

I just got a new PCV valve and four new check valves, guess I'll just start replacing system components and see if that helps any. Cheaper to just replace a bunch of stuff than pay Audi a couple hours of shop time.

goodluck man, try switchin back to just da N75, if it's still a no go than you most likely have a nice boost leak....
weird that the psi doesn't fluxuate between stock and chipped mode, I would expect to see a couple psi increase even w a mad boost leak....
toss ur mbc and see what happens
