Pretty funny, toms first pic of his old FMIC is on my car. Its off center but i was in a rush to install it and im just going to get a new rs4 front bumper, they have a little bit more room. I might make a new one and mine might be for sale in the near future. I had to hack the f**k out of my bumper support that there is barley any left. It probablly would have been easier to just take the support out since im getting a new one.

Hahahah, I wondered who got my old intercooler. The guy I sold it to had to sell it because he didn't want his wife to know he was modding the car[8D] Think about how much trimming you did, then triple it thats how much I had to trim for this new ic lol.

Haahah, thats great. Your really shouldnt need to trim much of the bumper support. There are two small stregic piece you can take out. I will see if I have any pics laying around. I wouldn't take it out though, if anything happens I highly doubt insurance would help you out once they realize the bumper support is gone.

Ah, the FMIC looks sick! But... I really don't want to hack out my bumper... what a dilemma... and the little one doesn't look that good from EVOMS. Oh well, I'll figure this out by mid summer.

See how you have a custom FMIC how hard was it to make the pipe work?

I am thinking about getting a universal core and then making up the pipe work with some aluminium tubing and silicone hoses for the bends.

Would probably be cheaper than buying one i think as in the UK they vary from about £700 to £1000. ($1300 to $1800)

good stuff, how did you hold the core to the car?

Also does anyone have an idea of what size of core i should aim to get?

Cheers
