Hello, can someone pleaseeee help me out, im looking to buy Aftermarket headlight unit that comes equiped with Angel Eyes, and i want to install HID's in them, but i heard thjaafter market headlight units are crappy, so i was just wonder where can i buy seperate angel eye units to put on my orignal stock headlights? pleaseee help me out here because i want ANGEL EYES badly

 

who told u all the angel eyes headlights are bad, there are some good ones, I’m not talking about eBay $120 pair headlights, google it, it will run u around $350-500 a pair, and before u buy it, make sure they will fit u just like OEM and fully adjustable.

you are going to get a lot of "they are for bmw" replies. ignore them, its your car, do with it what you will. even the e-bay angel eyes aren't that bad, fitment is pretty damn good, plus they're cheap. I put HID projectors/bulbs in mine and they work great. If you aren't much of a DIY'r this might not be the route for you, but if you think you can handle taking your headlight apart and putting it back together go for it.

 

Yea u will get stoned to death if u put the angel eyes in ur audi, but if it is what u like than do it. i personally like angel eyes my civic had them but i think i will leave my audi the way it is they look hott the way they are. Also ebay headlights suk because water always manages to leak through them so becareful what u buy. A little leak of water or evaporation can harm ur HID's permanently

 

If you end up getting the ebay ones then before you install them put silicon calking around the outside of the lights to seal them for sure. Then you won't have any problems with them leaking.

And also, if you mention anything about doing something out of the ordinary with your audi, prepair to be flamed. Just ignore them. Your car, do what you want with it!

I think they belong on BMW's too. But if you must do it, and do it right, youll have to spend a pretty penny to get a quality unit with good light output. For that amount of money there is no reason to not get ecodes. The stock headlights (one piece design)or ecodesare really what makes the front end of the audi so great, and especially so uniqueimo. They say "Hey Im an Audi and Im sexy!" Angel eyes scream "Hey..... I'm an Audi!.... I think!?... Wait! Am I a BMW?!? or MB???!? Errrrrr?!!!... Im so confused... Going to kill myself now... Feel so rejected by the world... Nobody likes me....."
Next thing you know your control arms snap and your timing belt tensionor fails... And youll wonder WHY.
Please dont throw your Audi into an identity crisis.

I have seen only a handfull of people that can actually pull off the angel eyes thing on an Audi.
Almost all of them have had blacked out cars with black housings.
Some look really good. I used to be all against it but you know what if you can make it work then more power to ya.
As long as its tastefull and stylish.
