Ok. Read the post all the way through before you make a suggestion. The interior motion is off and the alarm still goes off. It's not a matter of pushing the interior motion button. There is something wrong with the alarm system.

The wind sets off the interior motion sensors.
There is a button hidden behind the seat belt between the drivers seat the the B piller inside the car. You press it when you get out and you won't have that problem.

Yeah I don't know what to tell you dude. If the red LED is on and the alarm still goes off when you have the windows down... then you have a problem. Maybe take it to an alarm place and see if they can diagnose the problem.

Mine never goes off when I turn off the motion sensors. But I almost always forget to do it and my alarm goes off for who knows how long. Good thing it's not loud.
But I would make sure you are doing it correctly. You have to do it with the car off and door open. After you press the button the red light on the door will come on for a few seconds then turn off.

Yes.
45-Int. Monitor: -- KWP-1281
VAG-COM Works fine (note: This is tied in with 35-Central Locking so it may not work with pre-'97).
Sensitivity Adjustment
[Select]
[45 - Int. Monitor]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter channel 01
Enter a value between 50-100 (it should be 100 by default) for the sensitivity of the ultra-sound sensors
[Save]
