Air Bag Lite illuminated
I just recently had my 1999 Audi A4 2.8 go through the Pennsylvania State Car Inspection process. Based on the inspection, it failed because of a right front strut boot crack. I paid the deductible and they did whatever they needed to do to fix it. Other then that there weren't any failurs. The day I brought the car back I noticed that my Air Bag lite on my console was 'On'. Is this indication usually because there is a problem with the bag itself or something else? I just find it curious that I've never had an issue with the car and suddenly when it comes back from an inspection I've got a problem to deal with. (I'm a little sensitive with my 'baby'...you understand.

RE: Air Bag Lite illuminated
I appreciate the feedback. I took a look under the drivers side seat and was able to see a bunch of wires. But I can't reach all of them in their position even with moving the seat. So I did what I could and it didn't fix it.
Fortunately for me this car is under Audi's certified assured program, so at the most I'll only be out $50. It's gonna go in on Monday of next week.
