Aftermarket HID. What do you think of these?

RE: Aftermarket HID. What do you think of these?
This is the e-mail I wrote to them and they responded:
My name is Andrew and I am interested in purchasing the Purple 12000K for my 2000 Audi A4. My question is , are these Ballasts made by Hella? I was told to stay away from Ballast made from anyone other that Phillips or Hella. Also, can I get a High beam and a low beam kit?
Thanks,
Andrew
Their respnse back was this :
Dear Sir:
The ballasts are assembled on a German production line which use the same technology as Hella.
Actually Hella and Philips are only manufacturing the D2R and D2S HID kit so if your car doesn't have stock HIDkit, there is no way you can get a Hella HID kit to work on your car.
Sincerely

I am not sure about what he is saying about the Hella and Phillips, but if somone knows something other than what they wrote to me, let me know. I have responded to the e-mail about group purchases and will post prices once I hear back from them. Let's round up as many people as possible so we can get these as cheap as possible.

Hope you guys know that the higher Kelvin (K) above 6000k the light quality decreases dramaticly. Stock kelvin is 3900K and the 6000k is just a slight bit bluer than that. I would stick with the 6000k for the best lighting quality. Make sure you can have some kind of warranty on the kit. Also ----NEVER start the bulb up with it in the upright position. This is called "salting" and will ruin your bulb imediatly.
