do the timing belt yourself, its easy but just takes a really long time, if you use the audiworld step by step its a cake walk, and i will be happy, along with many other folks on here to answer any questions you come across, and where do you live?

But are you saying that Audi rotors shouldn't be cut at all?
no not at all, but most brakes get cut once and need replacing, but then again you may be lucky and do the majority of your driving on the highway.

You're right, I could attempt it but I don't have a garage and the weather still sucks here in Chicago. Time is also a real factor for me. I really don't have a day to set aside for this and I absolutely cannot afford to run into a problem and be without my car at this point. It's worth the $300 to $400 labor at Renn Art for me at this point. I'll also be bringing it there in stages working my way up to the big turbo (GT2871R eliminator). I want them to get familiar with my car.

Yes, mostly on the highway. I will be replacing them soon but I'll need to decide (along with my wallett) how much to upgrade and when.

If you're not mechanically inclined, I say SEARCH FOR ANOTHER MECHANIC.

I just got a TOTAL brake job, both rear and front pads & rotors done for $580.

I am definitely and Audi enthusiast, every single car I get from now on is going to be an Audi. But one thing that I lack is to be mechanically inclined. Thank god for web-forums like this one!!!!!!!!!
